Jamaica police seize more than 540 pounds of marijuana, 1 person detained
KINGSTON, Jamaica _ Authorities in Jamaica say they have seized more than 540 pounds (245 kilograms) of marijuana.
Police said in a statement late Friday that the drug was seized from a car during an operation in the southeast parish of St. Catherine.
One person has been detained.
