TORONTO, CANADA – July  18, 2022 – The Lighthouse ArtSpace in Toronto has been transformed into the much anticipated Bob Marley One Love Experience Exhibition. The multi-room exhibit seamed together original art, music, immersive, and experiential rooms, celebrating the life and work of Reggae Music legend, Bob Marley. On July 7, The Jamaica Tourist Board hosted an exclusive cocktail party for travel advisors, partners and media at the event venue.  After walking the immersive Bob Marley Exhibit, guests enjoyed refreshments and the soulful sounds of Bob Marley tunes played by Saxophonist, Dave McClaughin.

Highlights of the tour include never-before-seen photos and memorabilia, handwritten lyrics to iconic songs like ‘Turn Your Lights Down Low,’ original concert posters, albums, tour itineraries and The Beautiful Life Zone, which showcases Marley’s passion for family and soccer. Taking the spotlight is the lush One Love Forest – a tribute to Marley’s official song of the millennium, “One Love,” that captures the essence of Marley’s passion for unity, and merges perfectly with Jamaica 60’s theme, “Reigniting a Nation for Greatness.”

“Bob Marley is the very essence of Jamaica. Reggae is Jamaica and Jamaica is reggae. And here, tonight  we are able to bring the energy and spirit of Bob Marley and his music directly to you,” said Angella Bennett, Regional Director, Jamaica Tourist Board Canada. “This collaboration is especially meaningful to us as this year Jamaicans worldwide will celebrate 60 years of independence on August 6. In celebrating Jamaica 60, our theme is “Reigniting a Nation for Greatness”, and we encourage all Jamaicans living in Canada to “come home, rediscover your roots and reignite your passion for Jamaican culture.”

With the Bob Marley Experience taking place over the course of Jamaica’s diamond jubilee celebrations for Independence Day, the Jamaica Tourist Board, in partnership with Sandals and Air Canada Vacations, announced a trip giveaway sweepstakes for a chance to win a romantic, all-inclusive trip to the island of One Love.
