JENNIFER HUDSON – BROADWAY
NEW YORK (AP) _ Jennifer Hudson will return to Broadway in the fall — in the cast of the musical “The Color Purple.” She will play Shug Avery in the production. It will be her first turn on Broadway since her work in the 2006 “Dreamgirls.” No further word on who will star along with Hudson — or when the show will hit the boards.
