Perspective: The inspiring story of Jamaica’s ghetto girl, Fraser-Pryce

Perspective

This is a remarkable story of someone from humble beginnings to stardom on the world athletic stage. Visited her home place several times. It is as described… quite depressed economically.

Married

Recently a mother with a 2 year old son Zyon with her husband whom she held in her arms and introduced him to the world on the track at Doha after winning the 100 meters race in 10. 71 seconds. Beating a world class field.

Congrats to her on her success and longevity for her the past 10 years.

She is the first woman to get 4 golds in the 100 metres at the world Championships level. Shelly-Ann is pure class.
