Several properties in Region 5, Guyana were damaged as a result of a freak storm on Friday.

The storm, which damaged at least 20 properties, brought strong winds and heavy rain to the Bath Settlement community.

Reports from affected residents said a cone-shaped boat of wind was seen moving temporarily overhead.  Farmers in the community also reported the loss of crops, chickens and sheds.
