SEATTLE (AP) _ Members of a Seattle church aren’t very high on a pot shop. The Reverend Reggie Witherspoon can’t believe state officials allowed Uncle Ike’s Pot Shop to open right next door to his Mount Calvary Christian Center. Church members vow to protest every Sunday. Retail pot is legal in Washington state, but sellers must be licensed. The state marijuana law bans pot shops within 1,000 feet of schools, playgrounds and parks. But there’s no mention of churches. Witherspoon tells KING he’s filed a complaint with state regulators.
