Shaka Pow Gives Families Back-To-School Packages

Dancehall deejay, doctor and philanthropist, Dr. Garth “Shaka Pow” McDonald, continues the spirit of giving with his mini back to school packages to several families this summer.
This includes note books, rubbers, sharpeners and erasers.
According to the philanthropist,
“This is, especially, for needy families who are facing economic challenges with one or more children, having to find stationary items”.
Dr. McDonald recalls being benefitted greatly from scholastic achievements and the great part played by education, including having a profession which allows one to participate in various charities.
“Think of giving as a responsibility. Let us remember that we must give from our hearts and that this deed will motivate others to do likewise”.
The deejay keeps contact with previous awardees so that they do not fall short of support.
