Shaka Pow Unleashes Unconditional Love

June 9, 2022 | By Supa Pea | Dr. Shaka Pow a medical doctor by profession, is injecting “Unconditional” love as Jamaica inches towards its 60th anniversary. The song which cradles an afro-beat riddim comes deep from the heart of the deejay who once teamed up with Abby Dallas for “No Ice Cream Love.” This time deejay Shaka Pow, who wears the moniker Outfit Boss, is hoping “Unconditional” will not only make a difference in Jamaica, but the world.

“Well, we all know the world needs loves at this time And, what better way to show my contribution than to prescribe a medicine that can heal all people. “The riddim, which makes up the reggaeton and dancehall beats come from the Motherland. Having listened to the first two songs on the riddim, which is “Be Happy” by Richie Stephens and “So Amazing” by Chris Thomas The CEO, I decided to do “Unconditional.”

“It was not a case of writing down lyrics. Within ten minutes the skeleton of the song was complete. “The link came through producer Chris Thomas the CEO whose international profile gave him easy access to the executive producer who has direct link in Africa. Both Chris and the executive producer of the riddim has a history of keeping one of the biggest shows in New York. They have gotten back together.”

The song recorded in Jamaica was mixed and mastered in Africa. As a producer deejay Shaka Pow is credited with unleashing three riddim- driven albums during the height of the Covid- 19 pandemic. These are “Space Dem” with Harry Toddler’s “Space Dem” and General B ” Nuh More Than Me”. This riddim is notably the theme riddim for the very popular  Boombox Fridays.

The deejay’s (Shaka Pow) New Money riddim includes Beenie Man “Make Money Plenty” and Macka Diamond “Talk Up” which denounces domestic violence and abuse of women worldwide. Finally, Madd Energy riddim accommodates Shaka Pow “Bad Energy,” Bugle “A Voice” and Tanto Irie “Return of The Legend.”

Shaka Pow is currently working on his fourth studio album, and is one week away from dropping the anticipated M5 riddim which will be out this summer. Among the featured artists are  Iwata , DJ Liquid, Mr G, Shaka Pow and Quick Cook.

Unconditional was released on all digital platform globally on June 9, 2022. The video is in the making.
