Tasha T Nominated for Best International Indigenous Release 2017
In 2015, Tasha and her band were the first reggae talent invited to perform at the IMA awards. Her latest single, ‘Fire In Me’, produced by Forever Music, is being recognized this year for ‘Best International Indigenous Release’. “I am both humbled and elated”, says Tasha, upon hearing the news. The IMA 2017 will take place on May 19, at Club Regent Event Centre in Winnipeg, Canada.
‘Fire In Me’ lyrically inspires and motivates the listeners to dig deep within to find their inner ” fire “, and happiness in their life. The musical arrangement are strong, yet laid back, and brings out the sweetest vocal tones of Tasha T, along with stellar harmony arrangements. With consistently, conscious and emotive lyrics, Tasha T maintains, “You can’t quench this fire in me”.
“I feel truly blessed, honored and very happy to know that once again, I have been nominated for the second time – Simple words cannot express how I feel. I am looking forward to attending the IMA ceremony”.
