Toppy Boss Takes On Jamaica With “Yard” Single

Trinidadian Dancehall Artiste Toppy Boss has been putting in the work to become one of the top names out of the emerging crop of “Trinibad” Artistes. Having secured a great following with a selection of tracks and visual content, he has taken his brand to various parts of the world, and has been consistent with the output. With his latest single, “Yard”, he finds it taking off in the home of Dancehall, Jamaica.
Released through Restricted Records, Toppy Boss steps out with an energetic sound, and a unique delivery on “Yard”. The sexually charged single has been a hit in Trinidad and parts of the Caribbean, but it has taken on a new life in Jamaica. Since its release in June, it has been receiving a wave of support from the 876 thanks to social media and radio. From dance videos on Instagram and TikTok to Dancehall selectors showing it a lot of love on their various mix shows, “Yard” is easily a hit for Toppy Boss in 2021. In support of the single, a music video was released. Directed by Propper Stuff Productions (PSP), the dance heavy visual quickly gained thousands of views on Youtube, in addition to the thousands of streams it has received so far. Inspired by the love he has received from Jamaica for “Yard”, he plans to follow up with collaborations with prominent Jamaican Dancehall Artistes in the coming months.
