VoX INTERNATIONAL APPOINTS ANDREW RICKETTS OF TOTAL PR AS PUBLIC RELATIONS LEAD FOR THE FORT MYERS ACCOUNT

(TORONTO, ON – July 21, 2022) – VoX International and Total Public Relations have entered a collaborative partnership to provide public relations support for the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau in Canada. The strategic partnership welcomes Andrew Ricketts of Total PR back to the VoX International team. Ricketts will execute the public relations strategy for the destination, which recently unveiled a fresh new look with the brand-new tagline Fort Myers’ Islands, Beaches and Neighborhoods.

The new name comes with the launch of VisitFortMyers.com, and a revamped Visitor Guide designed to reflect the beauty of the destination. The new brand ethos is built on five key pillars: change of pace, commitment to nature, connection to water, sense of community, and an active lifestyle.

VoX International is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales and public relations plan, with the overall objective to increase visitor arrivals and encourage Canadians to discover Fort Myers’ islands, beaches and neighborhoods.

The public relations strategy will continue to grow awareness of Fort Myers in specialized niche markets with the combination of health and wellness, nature, culinary and island-hopping excursions.
