June 27, 2022 | Vision Newspaper |

The Award Winning Afro-Carib Fest is back, LIVE and in-person to provide you with an unforgettable experience. The festival will be held on Saturday August 20th and Sunday August 21st, 2022 at the Thomson Memorial Park, Scarborough, ON. With the growth of Afro Carib Fest, we are moving to a bigger venue. The event is brought to you by Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC) and will take place from 12 noon – 9 pm on both days. After a 2-year hiatus from in-person gathering; Afro Carib Fest is excited to return to its pre-pandemic glory, providing joy and shared experiences to all festival attendees.

ACF is the first of its kind that merges the African and Caribbean cultures together in celebration of our heritage. The event will engage audiences with live musical performances and fun filled, interactive activities, while appreciating the richness of the cultural fabric that strengthens our communities.

Now in its 11th year, Afro Carib Fest is one of the fastest growing festivals in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), across Ontario and Canada. The festival has been successful in bringing together over millions of people and has showcased over 1,200 artists, providing them the opportunity to showcase their talents locally and internationally. We have also partnered with over 655 local businesses, corporations and community organizations that have contributed to the economic vitality of Ontario and Canada in general.

Once again, we are excited to bring inspiring and entertaining moments to showcase the strength, pride and culture of the African and Caribbean communities in Canada.

Please join us on Aug 20th-21st, 2022 at Thomson Park and kindly help to share this great event information.
