Annual US-Caribbean Banking Forum Being Recommended

An annual US-Caribbean Banking Forum is being recommended which will look at matters pertaining to financial services and access for Caribbean Countries.
Prime Minister of Grenada and Chairman of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, OECS Dr Keith Mitchell has voiced his support for the programme.
The annual forum, proposed by US Congresswoman Maxine Waters was one of the action items on the agenda of last week’s Caribbean Financial Access Roundtable held in Barbados. Dr Mitchell was among several regional leaders who attended, co-hosted by Representative Waters, who is Chair of the US House Committee on Financial Services and who headed the six-member Congressional delegation.
