CEE LO GREEN LOSING CONCERT BOOKINGS
GRETNA, Louisiana — Cee Lo Green’s brush with the law is costing him gigs.
He was supposed to headline the Gretna Heritage Festival in Gretna, Louisiana, in October.
He pleaded no contest last week to one felony count of giving ecstasy to a woman during a 2012 dinner in Los Angeles.
He had also posted comments about rape on Twitter that were later deleted — and the Times-Picayune reports festival organizers dropped him because of those tweets.
Green has also been dropped from the JBAB Freedom Live concert sponsored by the U-S Navy in Washington on September 20 for the same reason.
