DJ Naz looks forward to Rebel Salute Clash

Ace Female Deejay Nazaria ‘DJ Naz Gurlpower’ Davis is looking forward to the exciting addition of the DJ Dubplate showcase to the Rebel Salute offerings at this year’s staging of the two day festival.

The DJ, who appeared on the festival once prior to this Saturday night’s event says it should be a good vibe with an African versus Jamaican dub for dub showcase; at the same time Naz wants to make it clear that she intends to win any showcase against Dynamq from South Sudan.

“I agreed to do the showcase because sound clashes are a huge part of Jamaica’s culture and Rebel Salute is a cultural explosion; at the same time i go out there to win everytime i face an opponent so Dynamq better get ready cause its only one Naz Gurlpower!” Naz explained

Naz is no stranger to winning sound clashes either, she waa the first female ever to win the coveted title of Guinness Sounds of Greatness champion in the summer of 2021. Prior to her win, she had made it to the finals in 2019 and is considered one of the most popular female DJs in the Dancehall circuit.

 Currently Naz is also making strides in her budding music career with multiple singles released including Hustler Mentality. DJ Naz is in promotion mode for her new weed inspired Kushtape mixtape which is currently available on Audiomack and Youtube.
