DR. DRE – ICE CUBE

NEW YORK (AP) _ Dr. Dre and Ice Cube admit their past with women is nothing to be proud of, but they’re different people now. Dr. Dre tells Rolling Stone he made some “horrible mistakes” when he was young and stupid, like his 1991 assault against T-V personality Dee Barnes. He says he’ll never make a mistake like that again. Ice Cube acknowledges N-W-A had some nasty lyrical content when it came to women, but he says, “I never understood why an upstanding lady would even think we’re talking about her.” The movie about N-W-A, “Straight Outta Compton,” opens today.
