FIRST COMMERCIAL FLIGHT EVER AT IAN FLEMING AIRPORT IN BOSCOBEL, ST MARY, JAMAICA
June 21, 2022 | Colin O. Jarrett | Minister of Tourism in Jamaica Edmund Bartlett was on hand to welcome the first ever commercial flight at Ian Fleming International Airport in St Mary.
The airport, which is located in Boscobel, 20 minutes-drive from Ocho Rios, St Ann, received an Inter-Caribbean Airways flight from Providenciales which is considered a game-changing one for Boscobel.
Minister Bartlett said this landing begins a new chapter in terms of this piece of geography and the rest of the World.
He further informed that the recovery will be bringing a lot more new markets to the island.
Inter-Caribbean is just one of the airlines that will be operating flights to the Ian Fleming Airport.
