Jamaica police charge teen with murder in killing of 11 month old
KINGSTON, Jamaica _ Authorities in Jamaica have charged a teenager with murder in the recent fatal shooting of an 11-month-old baby.
Police said in a statement Saturday that the unidentified teen had been arrested earlier this week in the foothills of the mountains that surround the capital of Kingston.
Police said the baby, Omar Lindo, was shot April 6 in Kingston by two gunmen suspected of trying to kill a man who was repairing his motorcycle. Lindo’s 6-year-old brother was injured in the shooting.
