UNDATED (AP) — It would have been too much irony for Lil Jon to be the face of Rock The Vote and not vote. He posted on social media that he caught a 6 a-m flight to Atlanta yesterday because the state of Georgia never sent him an absentee ballot after numerous calls. Lil Jon had teamed up with Rock The Vote to remake his song “Turn Down For What” as the get-out-the-vote song “Turn Out For What.” Rick Barron, Fulton County’s director of registration and elections, tells The Washington Post his office received Lil Jon’s request on October 24th and sent him a ballot on October 27th.
