LL Cool J’s 26 year old son arrested on trespass charge following dispute at NYC restaurant

NEW YORK (AP)_ Police say the 26-year-old son of actor and rapper LL Cool J has been arrested on a trespassing charge following a dispute at a New York City restaurant.
The NYPD says Najee Smith refused to leave Catch, a restaurant on Ninth Avenue and 13th Street in the city’s Meatpacking district, after being escorted to the exit early Tuesday morning.
Police say officers who arrived were informed that Smith had gotten into a dispute and was asked to leave. The department says he became combative with restaurant security.
Police didn’t say what the dispute was about.
It was unclear if Smith had a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
A call to LL Cool J‘s representative and an email message to his agent seeking comment weren’t immediately returned Wednesday morning.
