Popular Dancehall Label, Troyton Music, Releases Powerful Riddim Driven Project Aimed At Addressing Jamaica’s State Of Emergency
Troyton Music, the label responsible for some of the biggest secular songs (on the island) in recent years, has just shared their new album entitled Healing Project. This is a seven-track dancehall-gospel compilation that features some of Jamaica’s most respected gospel artists, all of whom delivered powerful messages in their respective songs.
The Healing Project has new music from: Kevin Downswell, Jermaine Edwards, Chevelle Franklyn, Alaine and Omari from Jamaica, as well as Guyana’s Samuel Medas. With a powerful prayer from Paul Scott added as an interlude, it is clear that the production team’s intention is to address the high crime rate on the island.
