Jamaica’s Prime Minister Andrew was in Bahamas showing support for the Caribbean tourism industry today as he was the keynote speaker at the grand re-opening of the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and Offshore Island. He took to social media as he always does to share some picture and release a brief statement.

“This afternoon, I delivered the keynote address at the Grand Re-Opening of the New, Re-Imagined, Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort, and Offshore Island.

Sandals is the quintessential all-inclusive hotel brand name of the Caribbean.

It is a name that comes with the promise of an exceptional world class experience, and it has indeed lived up to that promise.

As the world slowly emerges from the grips of the pandemic, now is the time to invest to benefit from the inevitable rebound that is to come.

Investments such as the Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort, and Offshore Island will bear bountiful fruit, and the path to economic recovery will be much clearer.” tweeted the PM.

The Jamaican Prime Minister earlier this morning met with the Prime Minister of Bahamas Philip Davis.

It is good to see these kinds of investments in the Carribean. The tourism industry has already started to rebound in the Caribbean and will continue to see growth in the years to come.
