PRINCE LIKES YOUTUBE
CHANHASSEN, Minn. (AP) _ Where has Prince been the most vigilant about people posting his music? YouTube. Where does Prince go when he wants to hear music? YouTube. Prince is notorious for aggressively pursuing what he sees as copyright infringement on YouTube. Prince himself, though, will watch everything from old James Brown clips to songs by new U-K artist FKA Twigs. Um, irony? Prince’s response: “People need to stop tripping.” In the meantime, Prince is releasing a new album, “ART OFFICIAL AGE.” He’s also releasing music from his latest protege’ act, 3RDEYEGIRL, called “PLECTRUMELECTRUM.”
