June 28, 2023 | Vision Newspaper |

TORONTO – Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) is proud to announce the 10th Annual Under the Stars: Movies in the Park. The beloved outdoor film series returns to Regent Park this summer, alongside family-friendly programming, all at no cost! This year, RPFF is excited to expand their program and bring the magic of Under the Stars to one additional park, with a special screening taking place in Dentonia Park. Over the last 10 years, Under the Stars has become a pillar in the community, and a space to connect new and old residents through widely loved films that prominently feature Indigenous, Black and People of Colour on screen. RPFF brings the community together with family fun and films, all while telling important stories that help share experiences and open conversations and connections. Through all of this, RPFF always remains free and accessible, as they work towards removing barriers to access in film and media arts.

RPFF’s Under the Stars will be in Regent Park alongside Taste of Regent Park, a weekly community market hosted by CRC 40 Oak. The market starts at 5pm each week, so come out early to get some delicious food and shop from local vendors.

Under the Stars runs every Wednesday from July 5 – 19th in Regent Park and July 22nd in Dentonia Park. If you have any questions regarding the accessibility of the park, please contact RPFF at info@rpff.ca or call 416-599-7733
