The ultimate Caribbean Festival themed party series, Sandz, returns to the capital city of Kingston in Jamaica this Independence weekend. The Supreme Team, promoters of the popular event since its first staging in Jamaica in 2016; sees this as a homecoming to the capital for Sandz which is now an in demand international event.
“We are excited to return to Kingston Jamaica because this is home for us and we will never leave or Jamaican supports without the Sandz experience, even though we have multiple staging’s in North America annually,” Andrew Ellis Chief Executive Officer for Supreme Team shared.
Even though the series, like many local events, was affected by Covid and the entertainment lockdown in Jamaica; the brand was able to see growth for the festival in places like New York, Florida and Toronto. With the summer open for events in Jamaica, it was a no brainer that the Sandz Caribbean Festival would be heavily requested as part of the holiday party season.
“’Emancipendence’ is synonymous with Sandz here in Jamaica prior to Covid restrictions and we want to show patrons our commitment to Jamaica as the home of the Caribbean festival, as we return to normal entertainment offerings,” Joleine Longman, Sandz PR Coordinator for Supreme Team added.
Patrons can expect an awesome experience at this Sunday’s staging at the National Stadium East, including performances from two of Dancehall’s reemerging stars, Laa Lee and Jah Vinci.
“Come for the complete Caribbean experience, the music, the food, the liquor and the vibe that makes us uniquely Jamaican, of course drinking and partying responsibly. We are celebrating the return of one of the mist consistent Caribbean party series in the world, from right here in Jamaica,” Carlton Davy, Chairman of Supreme Team concluded
