Shaka Pow, “Fi Dah Summer Yah” gets Real Hot

Dancehall Afrobeat deejay Doctor Shaka Pow, is prescribing a lyrical dose which is helping fans to deal with the tremendous heat this summer.

The song titled, “Fi Dah Summer Yah”, released two weeks ago, is produced by Unruly Kelly.

The picture perfect music video is fun to watch with party goers having a chock full of happy moments, including heavy gyration. It was directed, shot and edited in Payneland, Kingston by G Mac, video director and editor of Reggae Tropics films.

Payneland, Kingston, is known for empowering artistes such as Yellowman, Frankie Paul, G-Mac, Little John and Papa Toya.

According to Shaka Pow, “This is the first time I an doing a summer song and I love it, especially at a time when so many people are having fun with the music.”

“Summer is a time when people want to release some of the stress associated with work. So, they want to feel good, and the song propels them to do so.”

The deejay is comfortable with the level of support the song is getting. “A number of radio DJs are playing it, and of course it is likely to get better and better in terms of traction.”

Shaka Pow is also promoting songs “Unconditional” and “Fully Bright” with plans to stage Season Two of his Fully Bright Initiative in schools soon.
