“Whine & Jumping” is a high-energy song that highlights the powerful vocals of Patrice Roberts in complement to Shaggy’s unmistakable voice. The
visuals capture a vibe ‘designed for all the Carnival hot spots’ with stunning costumes and a view of the parade route. Patrice struts her soca stuff in the music video directed by Jay Will and the genre from her native Trinidad & Tobago is center stage as the Jamaican crooner dips into the world music subcategory.

The tune has been referenced by iconic artists such as Beyoncé in her song “Heated” from her latest album Renaissance. The Recording Academy named Patrice Roberts one of the “5 Artists Essential to Contemporary Soca.”

Patrice Roberts is currently ranked as one of the top Soca artists in the game alongside artists such as Machel Montano, Destra Garcia, Kes the band, and more. Recently, Patrice collaborated with Nicki Minaj on the remix of her song “Likkle Miss,” which has gotten more mainstream visibility. Patrice has traveled and performed around the globe, including Dubai, London, Toronto, and every Caribbean Island.
