Third World Don Helping Children in Jamaica

Jamaican- born rapper, hip-hop artiste and record producer Third World Don, is creating a buzz in Jamaica. This, for his recent contribution to the Fatherless.

Third World Don brought bright smiles to the face of Justin Macko as he collected a back to school sponsorship of a fabulous gift basket and cash.

The presentation was among several awards given to outstanding graduates 0f St. John’s Primary school, where Justin attends. He will be heading to Jonathan Grant High School come this September, 2023.

The award comes through the Michael “Beatbopper” Hudgins and Just for Peace Initiative of which Third World Don is a part.

In an interview with Vision Caribbean, Justin, aged 12, praised the effort of Third World Don and Beatbopper in extending more than a helping hand.

“My future is looking good, now that there is additional cash to deal with, for example, my uniform and books for the new school year. I want to extend my gratitude to them. God’s blessing to them.”

The award, which is for, Excellence in Extra-Curricular Activities, comes less than a week after Justin won the St. John’s Primary Miss and Mr. Physique Competition. He has also copped several medals in athletics and is fully involved in Cricket and Football competitions.

Third World Don, born Michael Barnett, caught the eyes of music lovers when he joined Wiizard Sleeve a talented U.S. group . They recorded a smashing hit titled Riverside (Let’s Go!). This went number 1 on the British chats, opening several doors, including live shows across the US.

Among his singles are, “Heartbroken”, “Back Way”, “Blessed”, “Kelly Price”, “FDB” featuring label mate Ray Charles, with albums Trench town featuring  dancehall/reggae legend Sizzla Kolonji, Not a Rapper, among  others.

He has produced on his label T Pain, GRazy Walz and East Coast.

Third World Don is featured on Beatbopper”s “Miungu Ya Muziki”  album which went number One in the Caribbean.

He is a firm favourite to headline Beatbopper’s Just for Peace album, to be released this year.
