Up, from Hard Times

Up, from “Hard Times”, Richie Flo has teamed up International reggae star Ras Penco, along with fellow reggae artist Cario to create a masterful insight of growing up from a life of poverty. This song is the first official single from Richie Flo’s upcoming debut album entitled, “Life, Love & Music”. Hard Times is a social commentary in which a vast number of people can relate to and is essentially the story of the artistes growing up in Jamaica.

Richie Flo created waves with his song, “Baby” in 2015 and released a number of songs since then including: “Favourite Kush”, “Fall in love” and “Control Me”. Ras Penco, who is also working on his upcoming album entitled, “Celestial Movements” has seen multiple successes with his songs like “Give Thanks for Life”, “Promise” and most notably, “Thousand Miles Away”.  Cario, an amazing singer and songwriter, has received attention with his single, “Making it Known” and has performed on multiple stage shows across Jamaica. 

“Hard Times” was written by Richie Flo, Ras Penco and Cario and produced by Izaak Wapachee of Contrahype production, a Toronto-based music label and Adyktve Entertainment. Richie Flo is set to release more singles from his debut album before the final roll out mid 2017. This album will express Richie Flo’s thoughts and experiences on life, love and music.

“Hard Times” has a release date of February 28, 2017 and will be available on Itunes, Amazon and all other online music stores.
