March 5, 2021 | Janice Young |

Billboard charting Jamaican artist Xyclone, has high hopes for his new single which has already started trending in the Caribbean and in the US. The single Boom, produced by Shotty Shane Productions and Slym from Black Ops’ Music, is the newest girls inspired single that has been getting great reviews since its release.

Xyclone, whose breakout hit Back Pocket Rag was released in 2012, is not surprised at the response to the new track as he believes the industry needed a track like this right now.

Boom is just about bringing amusement to the females worldwide. It’s refreshing to hear something other than gun, killing and scamming in Dancehall music. I believe the females appreciate it because they have been starving for more of songs like this,’ Xyclone explained

The artiste is no stranger to hit singles in the international Dancehall space either as another single, ‘Meck It Clap’ featuring Konshens, trended nicely in 2019; as for his bodies of work, three of his album projects got notable nods on the Reggae Billboard album chart in the United States.

Now with a newly inked management deal with SG Records and Jaus Col Entertainment’, Xyclone is ready to continue giving the people what they want musically with his unique vocal delivery and image.

Boom has already received multiple generic videos on TikTok and Instagram with females just enjoying the single, and even though events are limited worldwide, the track is still getting amazing traction online as well as rotation on radio stations and music platforms globally.

Xyclone is now preparing visuals for the single to be released later this month, he is also planning on releasing another potential chart topping album project this year.
