“BLURRED LINES” VERDICT

LOS ANGELES (AP) _ A judge has upheld the ruling against Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I. over the song “Blurred Lines,” and that’s created another round of legal moves. A judge agreed with a jury that “Blurred Lines” copies the Marvin Gaye song “Got To Give It Up,” but he knocked about two-million dollars off the damage award, to 5.3-million dollars. Howard King, an attorney for Thicke, Williams and T.I., says he’s appealing the decision. Richard Busch, an attorney for the Gaye family, says he is reviewing the ruling and how the reduction in the award will be handled.
