Businesses Reopening in Canada

Canada is moving full speed ahead with plans to reopen the Country for business  

Quebec 

Has a shortage of 1600 personal care workers. Many either have COVID 19 pandemic or just short. Infections in Montrael alone is about half their province of 1600. The Premier has announced that PCW to get increased pay.

Ontario

Ontario has announced that it will roll out reopening in phases starting with retail business being allowed to reopen with curbside pickup only starting this weekend.

Testing

Also in Quebec they plan to use City buses which are being converted to be used for testing an estimated 100 persons per day. Quebec wants to open their economy and are gradually doing so although infections are still high relative to the rest of Canada. Seniors homes with very low infection rates are being allowed to give Seniors an opportunity to stroll outside alone. They are very happy. Visitors are now allowed. Relatives and loved ones are pleased. The Premier made announcements at a daily press briefing.

Farmers

The Federal Government is giving $252 million to assist farmers and farm related activity. PM Trudeau made the announcement at his usual daily press conference on COVID 19.

From Province to Province the country of Canada is opening up for business as rates of infections are slowing down and curves are flattening.
