Donald Trump declares War Against Peaceful Protesters

In a strong show of force Donald Trump, President of the United States, unofficially declared war on his own people.  At the President’s request military police were used to break up peaceful protestors in front of the White House during the evening of June 1, 2020 as the world waited on the President to address the nation from the rose garden of the White House.  Police were seen using tear gas and rubber bullets just to push back the crowd.  All of this excessive force just for the President to take a picture with a bible at a church a few blocks away.

Telephone call with the Governors

On a phone call with the Governors Donald Trump was recorded telling them that they are too weak and they need to be tougher on the protestors.  “lock them all up” he said

“They are playing it all around the world” ” They took over a police station and you could see the police running down the street” “Its embarrassing” he was recorded saying to the Governors.

President Trump Evokes 1807 Act

The action of the president invoking the 1807 Act, wanting to bring out the army against the American people is illegal. said Gov. Cuomo (D) New York.

The 1807 Act would allow President Trump to deploy the US Army into the streets of cities and states to restore law and order.   The US Army is not generally suppose to be used to police its own people. The 1807 Act is the exception to the law. It was last used in 1992 during the riots in LA after the beating of Rodney King, an unarmed black man at the hands of police.

Governors across the US are oppose to this action.  The Illinois Governor speaking on CNN said he would rather deal with the situation peacefully himself.

“We have already called in our national guard”  “Police are trained to deal with policing its civilians not the military”

Tear Gas

It is ironic that the protests are for the excessive use of force by the authorities against black people in America and instead of the President speaking out against police brutality and excessive use of force the president ordered the strongest use of force by the highest authority in the land, by authorizing the military police to use tear gas and rubber bullets in an aggressive show of force against peaceful protestors.

Fallout

The fallout from President Trump’s dictatorship wartime address to protestors has been quick.  His words were met by the worst night of violence since the protests started last week.

5 police officers were shot and 2 police officers were run over by motor vehicles during violent clashes with police last night.  None of the officers were killed.

Riots and looting continued in cities throughout the US for a 7th straight night.
