“A’ Legends” Gets Cross and Angry over Females being called “Ole Foot”

US- based fashionista Jenelle “A’ Legends ” Thompson feels “Ole Foot”  a track on reggae artiste  Nakash Diesel’s “Time In Hell” EP  is disrespecting women in the broadest sense of the word. The EP was released on August 12, 2022

“I don’t find it amusing. The song is just going too far. The title is derogatory and one which degenerates women. I have listened to the song and I know a lot of  females will agree with me. I just don’t like it.

“A ‘Legends” further explains that the story surrounding the song is also one- sided. “Yes, there is truth that some  mature women don’t respect their age and keep running after these young men who don’t have more than sex to offer. But, what about these same men stalking older women.

“State your opinion deejay, but don’t try to disrespect women in such a way that people begin to look down on all of us.”

Reacting Nakash Diesel, has no apologies.

“Basically, if you listen to the song, at no point I disrespect women. Ole foot is just a name that we call older women. I even refer to the men as ‘ole head’ and they don’t have a problem with it.

“I did refer to older women as looking good in the very entry of my song saying ‘the big woman dem look good’.”

Nakash Diesel born Delroy Holness grew up in Galina, St. Mary. He attended Oracabessa high school, releasing his first song  A War Dem Waan” on the One Stable Records label based in Canada.

To date, he has released some  12 songs, his favourites  being, ” Creep Up Pon Dem,” “Body Bad” and “Anticipate”.
