Jah Thunder hails Jah for Protecting his cousin Capleton

Rastafarian chanter Jah Thunder, a cousin of Capleton, is giving Jah praises for life after the deejay lost control of the BMW motorcar he was driving and crashed along the Cocowalk main road, St. Thomas last Tuesday morning.

The Prophet who was returning from a charity  show with four of his relatives sustained only minor injuries.

In an interview with  Vision Caribbean TV, Jah Thunder says, ” days before the show I had second thoughts of going. I man just didn’t feel the vibes. It was a sudden show. I didn’t know the show  was still going on. It was a charity show with artists like Sizzla performing.

“I was asleep in bed. It was about 5:30  a.m when my phone rang. It was a relative who seh the King (Capleton) crash. A jump out of my bed and when I reach the accident, the wheels of the BMW was flat on top in the middle of the road.There wasn’t a lot of peopleļ but traffic was building up.

“The fireman wasn’t looking frighten The other occupants were there and nobody really got any serious hurt.

Jah Thunder  latest project is a song titled “123” in tribute to the recent sweep of the  100 meters by Shelly Ann-Fraser Pryce, Shericka Jackson and Elaine Thompson- Herrah at the World Athletics Championship, Eugene, Oregon. US.

“It’s A song also about Usain Bolt who set the trend. This was released July, 2022 on the  Syndicate label. The song is doing well in Jamaica, the Caribbean and as far as in Africa.

Jah Thunder born O’neil Bolt grew up in Cassia Park, Kingston 10. The deejay was influenced by his cousin (Capleton) when he came to live in Kingston during the  late 1980.

“I look up to Capleton because he is  a great role model who toughfç me to build conscious lyrics using everyday happenings in my dongs.

Jah Thunder released his first song “Bada Bada” on the African Star label.

He has released over 50 songs. Some of his favourites are, “Fire” a collaboration with Capleton; ” Football” “Name” “”Have A Start” and “Upload” on Bl Tha Hook Slaya album.
