A’Legends Gives One More Time

US born A’Legends, keeps giving back, to not only her Philadelphia based community, but also to children and adults in Jamaica.

Her most recent surprise comes with the hosting of a Thanksgiving meal for some 100 persons in her Philadelphia community on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

According to A’Legends, “the sumptuous meal included curry, jerk and fried chicken, along with collard greens, candied yams, and canned beverages.”

It seems A’ legends thought about this charitable deed at the right time.

“I put the idea of a Thanksgiving meal to Shana, proprietor of Caribbean Cafe. She did not hesitate to come on board.  Of course, I did not expect anything less; she is the sister of Flippa Moggela (Flippa Mafia), a friend of mine.”

With state of the art facilities, the finished products were finger-licking.

“I am so honoured and privileged to do a project which will remain in the minds of so many people. Thanks to everyone who has been a part of it, including Ms. Pearl. All those big smiles which came during our servings is a reminder that there is much we can do for others.

We were kept busy between noon to 4 :00 pm, of the event.”

A legends, born Jenelle Alexia, has been sponsoring children and adults in Jamaica for the past two years. She donated two eye-catching trophies to the “Best Dress Male and Female” in T-Flex’ Karaoke and Talent Contest in 2022. In addition, she gave gift baskets and books to top graduates at one primary school in Jamaica.

A’legends began her success story as a fashion designer in 2018; her A’legends brand was being worn by Grammy winning producer Delly Ranx, Wal-Mart Social Media Brand Ambassador Macka Diamond, and international recording artiste Vershon.

This gave her rave publicity on the cover of CMIX magazine based in Trinidad. In addition, to radio and television interviews and other features in the US and Europe.

She also appeared in the very popular Summer Angel’s 3 to 11 movie.

A’legends is the writer of two children’s books – Keira Discovers Her Talent and Keira and Jamie Discovers A Musical Dream.

She is currently preparing to release her 7-track Banx Riddim Ep, with dancehall reggae artistes, including Navino, Xyclone and Zagga.
