Baroness Scotland Breaks Her Silence On Her Candidature To Remain as Secretary General of the Commonwealth

Baroness Scotland has said inter alia:
“I ask Senator Kamina Johnson-Smith to step down as a candidate to replace me as Secretary General. We have saved much and the procurement rules have been changed to date. I should be allowed to finish my second term. I have saved up a million pounds. I acted within the rules that I found there.”
“The timing of Kamina Johnson-Smith is misplaced.”
The embattled Secretary General was speaking on ABC Radio.
British
The British have no confidence in Baroness Scotland. She is feeling the pressure. Kamina-Johnson Smith appears to be the frontrunner to replace her as Secretary General of the Commonwealth.
Interesting times are ahead.
