“A just the blessings. I have been tremendously blessed, and I can’t deny it. In a time like this when even record labels are saying music is not selling as it used to, I’m extremely happy that Bumaye has been certified platinum.”

He continued, “I have to big up Major Lazer and Bunu, the engineer, but most importantly, mi haffi big up the whole a mi fans dem. Thanks for all the support because this achievement would not have been possible without all of you,” Busy Signal told THE STAR.

The artiste is set to embark on a short African tour as well as a tour of the French Caribbean islands soon.

Major Lazer also recruited Jamaican dancer Mystic Davis for a collaboration called Bubble Butt which also features Bruno Mars, Tyga and 2 Chainz. That effort has got over 20 million views on YouTube and peaked at No.56 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles. Mystic was also later featured in the music video for Bumaye.
