Five gunned down by police in early morning shoot out with alleged gunmen today, Wednesday March 10, 2021.

August Town
This happened in the murderous area of August Town, St. Andrew. Jamaica W.I. Illegal Guns were seized.  MP Hon. Fayval Williams, Education Minister is under pressure to act now, to clean up the area. Gunmen are having a field day there. Rapes and hold ups are common. Too many illegal guns in the murderous hands.

Info is sketchy and names of the dead and injured soldier are not available up to press time.
The police watch dog INDECOM is investigating. We will update this post asap.
Commentary
We hope it was not extra-judicial killings by the security forces?  The law must be respected by all.  Law and order must occur.
