J Amsterdam Says He Represents The Freaks In Dancehall [VIDEO]
J Amsterdam is speaking after getting some harsh criticism from some dancehall fans for his new single “Come Wine Inna Face.”
The Portmore deejay, who called himself The Freak Messiah, says he is the new voice for the freaks in Jamaica.
“My is J Amsterdam straight out of the sunshine city Portmore,” the deejay said during an interview with the Star. “I’ve been a musician for over sixteen years writing my own songs and I have reinvented myself by taking on the landscape of the freaks. There are a lot of freaks in Jamaica but they have no one to represent them and they have no voice, so I want to be the voice of the voiceless.”
