Mark Davidson’s Big Night

Mark Davidson is a big contender to lift the prestigious T-Flex Karaoke Talent Contest title 2023. The second elimination was held last Saturday night at I C March Pen Road, Spanish Town Jamaica.
The dark well-built Davidson, with a perfect score of 100 beat some 18 others in a very competitive field.
Davidson came with “The Harder They Come” – a song made popular by Jamaican singer, songwriter and actor Jimmy Cliff, pouring cold water on those who were harbouring thoughts of grabbing the title.
He chose an outfit – a cut from the 1930’s with above waist pants, some three inches above the ankles, long sleeve shirt and suspenders.
Davidson’s well choreographed foot moves and body language would have reminded one of Cliff’s international performance.
“This was not my best performance, but is still a pretty decent one,” he added.
Davidson a singer, actor and commercial model, has won several awards in the Jamaica National pantomime. In addition to copping similar awards for overseas productions.
This Saturday’s elimination (round three) will have 14 facing the judges. In addition to Davidson are MJ, Andre, Kerry-Ann, Daniel, Fox, Hopewell, Christina, Jody, Jason, Sodana, Kale, Celene, Get To The Point and Danny.
