Perspective: ORiel Used Near Tragedy To Chart Success … Class Is Class … “Babylon Video” a Class Act …

oriel gears upThe single Babylon and video is a class act worthy of collection. After the assault by police, ORiel and his Band could have allowed near tragedy of gun pulled on them by wreck less police officers for a simple spliff to have left them traumatized. Incidents like these could have gotten to their heads. Instead they responded with a positive attitude and turned near tragedy to success.

The band used the experience to their benefit by immortalizing the incident somewhat in song.

Ganja decriminalization

Jamaica’s Justice Minister, Hon. Delroy Chuck stated recently that “The decision of the Jamaican government to decriminalize the possession and use of small amounts (2 ounces or less) of the weed/ganja has made a great difference to our Justice System. Our records show that some 8000 convictions have dropped to 2000 and approximately 4000 convictions have been ex sponged from personal records. (since decriminalization).”

This infraction is now a ticket able offense and is not reflected on someone’s record as a criminal offense.

New Thinking

Worldwide thinking towards ganja has changed.

We wish the ORiel Band all the success with their new single entitled “Babylon.”
