Prime Minister Andrew Holness Lauds Vaccination Players

Thanks to the MPs, Councillors, healthcare workers, JCF and JDF for their service in getting the 75,000 jabs done.  I spoke to the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaposa who redirected 75, 000 doses from South Africa to Jamaica. Also expected soon is some Maderna type numbering 20,000 obtained on the commercial market, and an additional 50,000 of the Ascazenica type.

PM Holness has praised Julian Robinson Opposition Spokesman on Finance for his efforts at assisting with the process of getting out his constituents. Hon Mark Golding has supported PM Holness’ call for the international community not to be selfish and assist where possible by helping the less fortunate countries to get their people vaccinated.

This unity at the parliamentary level is a good image.  We think it is good for Jamaica as we are known internationally.
