Rastafest Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Rastafest, one of Canada’s largest reggae event, celebrates 30 years of Rastafari culture and traditional roots reggae music in Canada. In recognition of this milestone, the festival will be staged from August 17th, 2023 to August 20th, 2023 in Little Jamaica. Rastafest will be launched on Friday July 28th, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Studio M, 1672 Eglinton Avenue West (at Glenholme Avenue).
Rastafest celebrates three decades of showcasing Jamaican and Rastafari heritage and culture to Canada and the world. The festival is a multi-disciplined, family fun event highlighting different aspects of the Rastafari and Reggae culture. The festival draws from the rich and diverse Rastafari lifestyle, culture and history. Activities include live concert, ancestral drumming, arts/crafts marketplace, and ital food cuisine. Fun-lovers of Reggae music, Rastafari culture and Jamaica can tune into the live-stream of the event to a large international audience on www.rastafest.tv.
The festival is produced by Rastafest Inc, Masani Productions Inc, and the Canadian Reggae Music Association.
