SAG AWARDS – VIOLA DAVIS

LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Viola Davis says despite what you might read in online postings, diversity “is not a trending topic.” She says it’s an ongoing issue for her and her fellow African American actors. She says none of the actors of colour she knows “place any limitations on themselves” _ no matter what Hollywood does or doesn’t do. Because of that, Davis says, minority performers “will find a way to be excellent” adding that they always have _ and always will.
