State Senator indiscriminately Tear Gassed

A black New York State Senator Zellnor Myrie, said he was tear gassed as he protested peacefully in a crowd:

“I was tear gassed indiscriminately as I peacefully demonstrated in a crowd in New York. My shirt had my name and title visibly written on it.”

The State Senator further said

“I told law enforcement prior to arrival on the scene that I would have been there. I was not processed after I then identified myself.  The plastic ties were taken off my hands. I was put aside and later given medical treatment”. Stated an obviously upset but dignified Senator.

Thousands had gathered to protest in a peaceful manner.

Chris Cuomo brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo interviewed the New York Senator Zellnor Myrie live on CNN.
