SUGE KNIGHT – COURT, PLEA, HOSPITAL

COMPTON, Calif. (AP) — A hearing, a not guilty plea _ and a trip to the hospital. That was the day for former rap music kingpin Suge (SHUG) Knight. The man who helped create Death Row Records appeared in court to answer for a case in which he’s accused of running two men over with his pickup truck. One man died, another was injured. Knight pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges. If he’s convicted, he could face life in prison. Shortly after entering the plea, Knight entered a nearby hospital. He was rushed off for treatment after complaining of chest pain. There has been no further information about Knight’s condition. Next up for Knight _ a bail hearing, set for next week
