TROOPER SUES OVER REPRIMAND FOR SNOOP DOGG PHOTO
AUSTIN, Tex. (AP) _ A Texas trooper is suing his bosses for reprimanding him after Snoop Dogg took a photo with him. Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Billy Spears filed a civil lawsuit yesterday. He says he was working off-duty security at the South By Southwest Festival in March when an assistant for Snoop Dogg took the picture and posted it on Instagram. Spears was reprimanded because Snoop has several convictions on drug possession. Spears is seeking unspecified damages and a jury trial. D-P-S declined to discuss pending litigation.
