WIZ KHALIFA-CONCERT CANCELED

AST LANSING, Mich. (AP) _ Better safe than sorry. Michigan State University says it’s canceling a concert featuring Wiz Khalifa _ because of safety concerns over a fatal shooting at one of the rapper’s shows last week. The school in East Lansing says it pulled the plug on the show because of what it calls a “review of recent events and assessment of campus concerns.” A spokesman for the school tells MLive.com the Friday killing of someone backstage at the show “obviously played a role” in the decision to cancel. The concert was set for September 13.
