has shaken him down to the tune of US$130, 000 to keep quiet. This was close to the vote for the White House in 2016.
Will Donald Trump survive this latest revelation by Stormy Daniels? This porn star has sued or is about to sue and has gone public over an alleged hush money deal. The president’s lawyer said he paid the hush money from his own pocket to the tune of US$130, 000. This is an apparent attempt to shield the president from this mess which has the potential to get messier before it settles down.
The White House press reporter who chairs press briefings and answers questions from journalists has denied Trump’s involvement “The president has no recollection of this matter” she declared with a straight face. She has one of the most difficult jobs in the world. We do not envy her for her job.

Daniels has said that Trump did not sign the hush agreement so there it is no legally binding contract. This alleged agreement was flashed on television fir the world to see as evidence. What a mess!
Will the authorities be able to pick up the paper trail of the payment to Daniels?
A lawyer for Donald Trump has said “The fact is that she accepted the money, and it could be construed that this suggest that there was implied consent. Even if she returned the money now the deal would have been consummated” so to speak … asserts his lawyer inter alia.

Will Trump who is known to have been endowed with an extra thick coating of Teflon be able to avoid this latest mess from sticking on him? The fact that there is an admission, albeit from his lawyer, that a payment of hush money has been made is significant and may be the smoking gun that could cause a break through that can lead to guilt. Are we on to something here? Is this fake news, a Trump likes to tweet? The verdict is yours as usual.
Morality
We need a higher level of morality at the level of the office of the president. This does not send the best image and example to the world. Trump needs to be reminded that he is head of the free world and he cannot behave like some nondescript.
Conclusion
We will have to sit on the edge of our seats as we await the outcome of this latest revelation on president Donald Trump.
